See Clearly. Feel Comfortable. Look Your Best.

Your eyeglass lenses are just as important as the frames you choose. At Vision Center Optometry, we offer a variety of advanced lens materials, personalized lens designs, and protective coatings to help you enjoy clear, comfortable vision throughout your day.

Premium Lens Materials

The right lens material can make your glasses thinner, lighter, more comfortable, and more durable.

  • Standard Plastic (CR-39)

A dependable, economical lens material with excellent optical clarity. Ideal for many patients with lower prescriptions who want quality lenses at an affordable price.

  • Polycarbonate Lenses

Lightweight, impact-resistant lenses with built-in UV protection. Often recommended for children's eyewear, sports glasses, and safety-conscious patients. Optical clarity may be less favorable than some alternative materials.

  • Trivex Lenses

Combine excellent impact resistance, lightweight comfort, and high optical clarity. An excellent choice for active lifestyles, children's glasses, and rimless frames.

  • High-Index Lenses (1.60, 1.67 & 1.74)

Designed to reduce lens thickness for stronger prescriptions. High-index lenses offer a slimmer appearance and may reduce weight depending on the prescription, frame, and lens design.

Advanced Lens Designs

Modern eyeglass lenses can be customized for your prescription, daily activities, and visual demands.

  • Single Vision Lenses

Designed to correct vision at one primary distance, whether for driving, reading, or other activities. Suitable for patients with nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.

  • Progressive Lenses

Provide a smooth transition between distance, intermediate, and near vision without visible bifocal lines. Ideal for patients with presbyopia who want one pair of glasses for multiple viewing distances.

  • Computer & Office Lenses

Specifically designed for intermediate and near vision, making them helpful for computer work, reading, and desk activities. These lenses are not generally intended for driving.

  • Digital Freeform Lenses

Manufactured using advanced precision technology to optimize lens surfaces. Depending on the design, these lenses can provide improved peripheral vision and greater personalization.

  • Aspheric & Atoric Lenses

Feature specialized surface designs that can reduce lens curvature, improve cosmetic appearance, and optimize optical performance for certain prescriptions.
