Digital Eye Strain

What Is Digital Eye Strain?

Technology is a constant part of our everyday lives. But staring at screens, like phones, tablets, e-readers, or computers, can be hard on our eyes.

The blue light from digital screens can cause discomfort and disrupt sleep patterns. Additionally, prolonged screen time can lead to digital eye strain or computer vision syndrome (CVS).

If you notice increased blinking, headaches, or trouble sleeping, especially after screen time, you might be experiencing eye strain.

  • Increase monitor distance

  • Try the 20-20-20 rule

  • Apply eye drops recommended by your eye doctor
